DR. DANY ANTONY
Dr. Dany Antony has his roots in the south of India. He graduated from Dalhousie University, Halifax, and obtained a DDS degree in 2017. After graduation, he did a one-year General practice residency at Dalhousie. During his residency, Dr. Antony was trained to do dental procedures under nitrous, oral, and IV sedation. His areas of interest include wisdom teeth extractions and other minor surgical procedures, fixed and removable prosthodontics, implant crowns, and bridges. He has received The American academy of oral medicine award, Society of dental specialist of Nova Scotia award, and Dr. Walter Cook award during his time in school.
He is focused on providing the best possible care for the patient and offering different treatment options so that patients can choose the treatment that suits their needs. Dr. Antony has volunteered his time in underserved areas of the East coast and has participated in charity missions in and outside Canada. He was an office-bearer with the dental student union at Dalhousie University and worked with the food bank of Canada.
Outside work, Dr. Antony enjoys riding road bikes and motorbikes. He spends his spare time doing long-distance road biking and running. He also enjoys cooking and spending time with family.
