Dr. Alan Chang

After earning his doctorate from the University of Alberta in 1988, Dr. Alan Chang practiced in Calgary for 22 years before moving to Red Deer in 2011. With over 35 years of comprehensive experience in dentistry, Dr. Chang prides himself on providing his patients with services that range from fillings and root canal therapy to Invisalign, dental bonding, veneers, sedation services, and more.

Striving for excellence in every area of his professional life, Dr. Chang is committed to helping each person in his care look great, feel great, and smile with healthy confidence. To that end, he prioritizes pursuing continuing education in implants, orthodontics, complex procedures, and more. Because he believes in giving back, Dr Chang regularly goes on dental mission trips to third-world countries. Most recently, he participated in a three-week trip to Bhutan with a group of dentists.

Dr. Kayla Trca

Originally from central Alberta, Dr. Kayla Trca earned her doctorate from the University of Alberta in 2022. During her time there, she was proud to volunteer for various committees and serve as the vice president internal of the Dental Students Association for two years, and as co-chair of the Women’s Empowerment Lunch and Learn group for three years.

Known for his approachable manner and precise technique, Dr. Smith is dedicated to building long-term relationships with his patients. He’s committed to ensuring each smile gets the thoughtful, personalized attention it deserves.

Dr. Rahil Doshi

A strong interest in health sciences led Dr. Rahil Doshi to acquire his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alberta’s Mike Petryk School of Dentistry. During dental school, he was involved in several outreach programs. Dr. Doshi volunteered at the SHINE student-led emergency clinic and provided care at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital and satellite clinics in Alberta.

Dr. Doshi believes in building trust through thoughtful communication and personalized, evidence-based care. He’s passionate about helping patients understand their oral health, restoring smiles, and relieving pain while providing a range of treatments. His kind-hearted approach and focus on education are key to creating a relaxed and supportive environment where patients feel empowered to care for their smiles.

A member of our dental family since 2022, Ma Lee joined the field of dentistry in 2007 and has earned a reputation for her friendly demeanor, supportive outlook, and commitment to excellence in all she does. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the sterilization, storage, and PAN areas, she also assists hygienists and dental assistants as needed. Ma Lee enjoys camping, biking, taking walks, picnicking, visiting garage sales, and landscaping. In winter, she enjoys watching movies, cleaning, and spending time with friends and family.
